SDB Priests: Fr. Mattathilani Abraham (1995 - 1997), Fr. Pentareddy Jayapaul Reddy (1997 - 2000), Fr. Thattil Chacko (2000 - 2003), Fr. Sebastian (2003 - 2009), Fr. Rayappa ( 2009 - 2012), Fr. Nagothu Papaiah (2012 - 2016), Fr. Bokkala Rayappa (2016 - till date).
In 1980, Fr. Yeddanapalli M. Joseph bought 17 acres of land at Bandlaguda, intending to start a residential School for poor children. But in 1986, this land was divided into 91 plots by the Archdiocese and sold at subsidized cost to Catholics of the twin cities. Being far away from the city, most of the plot owners just retained their plots and did not build their houses. But with the arrival of the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1992 at Kismatpur the plot owners began to construct their houses and occupy them. Archbishop Samineni Arulappa in his letter dated 10th May, 1995 asked the Salesians to take care of the spiritual needs of the people when more and more Catholics moved in. Bandlaguda was officially erected as a Parish on 24th May, 1995.
The foundation stone for Don Bosco Parish Church, Bandlaguda Jagir was blessed by Archbishop Marampudi Joji on 31st January, 2001 in the presence of Fr. Medabalimi Balaswamy SDB, the Provincial of St. Joseph Province, Hyderabad. Don Bosco Shrine was consecrated by Archbishop Marampudi Joji and was inaugurated by Fr. Balaswamy Medabalimi SDB, Provincial of St. Joseph’s Province, Hyderabad on 24th February, 2003. Fr. Mattathilani Abraham SDB was the first Parish Priest. In the recent past, the Parish has seen a surge in Catholic families, due to the location close to the Outer Ring Road and Hitech City. Fr. B. Rayappa SDB, the present Parish Priest constructed new Grotto and 14 Stations of the Cross in the Parish Church Campus. New Grotto and 14 Stations of the Cross was inaugurated on 26th January, 2019 by Fr. Thatireddy Vijaya Bhaskar SDB, Provincial Superior.
