Church Gagillapur Deanery, organized a Youth Night Vigil on the theme “Create in me a clean heart” (Psalm 51:10) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Jagathgiri Gutta on 6th March 2026 from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM on 7th March 2026. Very Rev. Fr. Samala Mariana Michael, Dean and Parish Priest of Church Gagillapur, and Rev. Fr. Paul Raj, SHS, along with all the Parish Priests of Church Gagillapur Deanery and the Young Apostles were invited to animate the night vigil.

At the beginning of the program, Rev. Fr. Madanu John, Parish Priest of Jagathgiri Gutta, delivered the welcome address. He warmly welcomed all the priests, youth, and participants who gathered for the night vigil. In his message, he encouraged everyone to actively participate in the prayers and spiritual activities throughout the night and to open their hearts to receive God’s grace and blessings.

The night vigil began with the Holy Rosary led by Shapur Parish, where the youth and faithful gathered together in prayer and devotion. With deep reverence, the participants entrusted the entire vigil to the loving intercession of Mother Mary. As the rosary was prayed, the atmosphere was filled with peace and spiritual reflection, helping everyone prepare their hearts and minds for the night of prayer and worship ahead. The devotion united the youth in faith and reminded them of the importance of prayer and trust in God through the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Following the Rosary, the Stations of the Cross were led by Jagathgiri Gutta and Shapur Parish. The youth prayerfully reflected on the passion and suffering of Jesus Christ. As each station was meditated upon, the participants were reminded of Christ’s immense love and sacrifice for humanity. This devotion helped the youth reflect on their own lives, grow deeper in faith, and express gratitude for the saving sacrifice of Christ.

Following the devotion, Rev. Fr. Pasala Innaiah, Parish Priest of Medchal, began his session with a Bible verse from the Gospel of Matthew (19:16), reflecting on the question of the young man who asked Jesus what he must do to gain eternal life. He then led the youth into a moment of worship and prayer, preparing their hearts to receive the message of the Lord. During his talk, he explained the importance of the Ten Commandments and how they guide Christians to live a faithful and righteous life. Relating his message to the theme “Create in me a clean heart,” he encouraged the youth to examine their lives, strengthen their faith, and strive to live with pure hearts dedicated to God. His message inspired the participants to renew their commitment to faith and follow God’s commandments in their daily lives.

The vigil continued with the screening of The Chosen, Season 3 Episode 5. The episode helped the youth reflect more deeply on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. It highlighted the call to repentance, faith, and transformation of the heart. Through the message of the episode, the participants were encouraged to renew their faith, seek God’s mercy, and strive to live with pure and faithful hearts.

The vigil continued with a praise and worship session led by Mr. Ch. Raju, TCBC Youth Advisor. During this session, the youth joyfully praised and worshipped the Lord through songs and prayer. It also helped the participants learn how to pray and open their hearts to God. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual joy as the youth lifted their voices in worship and experienced a deeper connection with the Lord.

The vigil continued with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy led by the Young Apostles and Suraram Parish. During this devotion, the youth and faithful prayed together, seeking God’s mercy and grace for themselves and for the whole world. The prayer created a peaceful and reflective atmosphere, reminding everyone of the infinite mercy and love of Jesus Christ. The participants were encouraged to trust in God’s mercy and grow stronger in their faith.

The vigil then continued with Eucharistic Adoration and a spiritual talk by Rev. Fr. Paul Raj, SHS. He led the youth into a deep moment of prayer and reflection before the Blessed Sacrament, helping them to enter into a closer relationship with God. During his talk, he reflected on the theme “Create in me a clean heart” (Psalm 51:10) and explained it with various examples from daily life, encouraging the youth to seek inner renewal and purity of heart. The time of adoration was marked by deep silence and devotion, with the youth attentively focusing on the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Many participants experienced a profound spiritual moment, feeling renewed and inspired in their faith through God’s grace

The vigil concluded with the Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Paul Raj, SHS. The Eucharistic celebration brought the entire gathering together in prayer and thanksgiving. During the Holy Mass, the youth and faithful participated with devotion, offering their prayers and intentions to God. The celebration strengthened their faith and encouraged them to continue living with renewed hearts according to the theme “Create in me a clean heart.”

The Night Vigil at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Jagathgiri Gutta, was a night filled with grace, renewal, and deep spiritual reflection. Through the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, inspiring talks, the screening of The Chosen, praise and worship, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Eucharistic Adoration, and the Holy Mass, the youth experienced God’s presence in a powerful and meaningful way. The various spiritual activities helped the participants reflect on the theme “Create in me a clean heart” (Psalm 51:10) and encouraged them to renew their faith and commitment to God. The vigil strengthened the spiritual life of the youth, united the community in prayer, and inspired everyone to live as faithful witnesses of Christ in their daily lives.
